We were able to drive to Yakima to spend the 4th of July with the Mickelsons.
It was sort of our first official outing since having Clara.
I was a little nervous about the 4 hour drive but both of our babies did amazing.
We arrived right on the 4th and started right in with the fun.
We had a yummy bbq, Olivia had a blast in the little pool grandma got her, and we played quite a few games of bocce ball.
I even won a few games!
The following days were just as much fun.
Yummy food and desserts that were not chocolate:) (except the smores), we played the domino train game, (I forgot what it was called but I loved it ), and lots more swimming time for Olivia.
We even went to their neighbors big pool and that was a blast.
They have this giant slide and Michael decided to take Olivia down it. Well, since it goes down into very deep water he asked Matthew to wait at the bottom and help grab Olivia. So down he goes, they both go under and then Michael tosses Olivia to Matthew who then goes under with Olivia, so Michael grabs Olivia and goes under again...this went on and on and Olivia was barely above water when her aunt Rachel came to the rescue ha. It was definitely funny to watch. I probably should have gotten up to help but I could hardly believe what was going on. Anyway, you had to have been there but I wanted to always remember those moments. Rachel was the smart one and figured out that the best way to go down the slide with Olivia was with a woggle. So that when they got to the bottom they would go under for a second and then pop right back up and float.
Olivia loved jumping off the diving board.
Cutest thing ever.
And then because we forgot to do sparklers on the 4th we did them our last night and roasted marshmallows over the bbqer.
It was such a fun weekend for all of us!
The BBQ.
Our little family.
I love us!
Pa telling stories to Olivia.
(Goldilocks and the three bears.)
My sweet baby girl.
Olivia loving her little pool!
Love my girl.
More dinner fun.
This was taken right after Olivia decided to take a pee on the patio:)
Uncle Math and baby Clara.
Don't you love his attire?!
My cute pioneer baby.
We spent a long time on the patio talking.
In fact we even got to talk to Stephen who is doing a study abroad in Jerusalem!
She's such a brave little girl.
Having the time of her life with her aunts and uncle!
Eating some yummy smores!
Sparkler fun!
This was her most favorite thing to do with uncle Math.
She sure loves this boy.
Thanks Mickelsons for such a fun weekend.
We love you!
