April goodness.

And here we go on all the random photos from April!

There's nothing better than a popsicle in the bath when those little teeth are trying to poke their way out!

Sometimes we try to make our food cute so that it's more likely to be eaten!

One of my favorite times of the day is around 12:00 pm when I can swaddle my Clara up nice and tight and rock her gently to sleep.

It doesn't get better than homemade lemonade popsicles with fresh strawberries and blackberries!

Michael was able to drive up to Portland to be there for his best friend Dustin's little girl Taylor's blessing.

I love making quick stops at World Market to pick out a few different fine chocolates to taste!

Sometimes as a mother you need to use the restroom, but beware if you do because this can happen!
A nice concoction of baby wipes, diapers, and powder.
Yikes!

The absolute BEST ice-cream in the entire world.
Unless you are in Italy eating the real stuff.
Then that's better :)

Early morning snuggles with daddy are the best!

Shoving Costco samples in our mouths and watching Frozen was the perfect way to pass the time while waiting for our printer ink to be filled.

I'll never get over how absolutely gorgeous the Portland Temple is.
It was so fun to take our activity day girls up there to help teach them the importance of the temple and how to prepare themselves to go inside someday.

Storytime.

I love that they love playing with the very animals I played with as a little one in the bathtub.

April, thanks for being fabulous!

Enjoying the warm weather.

With all this warm weather we've been having, it's been a necessity to make a few trips to our favorite parks.

We love Bush Park because there's always plenty of friendly tree squirrels running around everywhere!

We also loved Burgerville's fresh strawberry shake and rosemary fries!
While daddy golfs, we eat!

Daddy couldn't resist sneaking them onto his golf cart to take them for a quick ride.
As you can tell they loved it!

One of our other favorite parks is Riverfront Park.
The views of the Willamette River are breathtaking, and the carousel, well it's pretty much the best!

Of course Clara was not so much a fan of the carousel unless mommy was holding her nice and tight!

Oh Spring, how we love you!

The tulip festival.

When I found out there was a tulip festival going on right near our home I knew we had to go!
I mean endless fields of tulips?! It just doesn't get prettier!

Although the tulips were stunning, nothing beats an ice cream cone on a hot day and a good old fashioned elephant ear.

Let's be honest here, we're that family that always goes for the food!

Easter.

This year for Easter we decided to drive up to grandpa and grandma Mickelson's to spend it with them!
We had such a fun weekend doing the usual easter festivities.
Egg dying, Easter egg hunting, yummy food, and of course lots of candy eating!

Clara thought it was fun to literally throw her egg into the mugs!

Both girls did such a good job hunting for all those eggs!
Olivia was especially excited about the ones that had money in them!

We had to drive home on Easter Sunday and as you can imagine the girls were completely exhausted after an exciting festive weekend!

My family is everything. I am so grateful to know that I can be with them forever.  I am also so grateful for the Atonement.  I have found myself leaning on Christ more times that I can count and He has carried me through every single time. He lives! And that in and of itself brings more peace and joy than I can even begin to describe.
Happy Easter!
