Olivia's pony adventure.

As we all know, Olivia is obsessed with all things ponies and horses.
So for her birthday I was sure that we had to do something special that involved ponies.
We found this cute pony farm in Newburg that offered a 1 hour pony adventure where Olivia would get to learn all about ponies and how to take care of them, and of course get to ride one.
Because I didn't figure this out until the week of her birthday we weren't able to schedule a time for her to do it until a couple weeks later.
We didn't mention any of the specifics to Olivia just that we we had a big surprise for her!
As we started pulling in to the barn she figured it out and said, "am I going to ride a horsey?!"
She was in heaven that full hour brushing her pony, cleaning out his shoes, riding him, playing games, giving him treats, and last but not least giving him lots of hugs.
I should probably mention that her pony's name was Paddington. So cute!

Michael and I had such a fun time watching her. The excitement on her face was priceless. We also could not get over two little miniature ponies that were there. They seriously each weighed just 95 pounds and were full grown. It was all we could not to just jump in to their cage and pick them up like a baby! Cutest little things ever. Seriously they are like pony dogs. Michael and I sat there planning how someday when we have a house we are going to put a small little barn in the back yard with a little fence and buy a couple miniature ponies to keep there. And during the day just let them out in the backyard to play with our littles. It's fun to dream, but seriously we want one badly!

After Olivia's pony time they let the girls feed the chickens. Olivia even stuck her finger in the cage after we told her a million times not to and of course got nipped ha. That's what she gets!

(The couple you will see in the pictures below are the owners of the ponies and were so great with Olivia! We will definitely be back!)

One of the best parts of being a mom is planning fun things/surprises for my littles and watching their faces as we do them.  Their looks of pure delight will never get old. Being a mom is the best!
