Loving fall.

We've been trying to soak up every second of fall.
The beautiful leaves, the pumpkin goodies, and halloween crafting.

Every holiday my mom gives me a decoration.
I love this because I love decorating for all the different holidays but can never justify spending money on a decoration that can only be used for a month.
Obviously they didn't mean Salem, Oregon but I'll pretend because that makes it extra fun!

The tradition of waving bye bye to daddy and shouting out last minute requests such as "bring me home a sugar cookie," or "bring me home a pony!" The sugar cookie request is usually granted, however the pony one...well it will be a while!

We made this haunted spooky house for family home evening.
Besides the fact that I burned my finger a billion times with the hot glue gun and the house only stayed standing for a few days, it was a blast!
Apparently we can't make gingerbread houses here in the pnw because of the wet/moist climate. I am not kidding you when I say our graham crackers literally felt like mush.

One morning, Olivia came running back in to my room saying, "help mom, come fast." Of course I ran to the kitchen and found this.  And I couldn't help but make her sit like this for a few more seconds so that I could take a picture. I'm sure we'll look back at this and share many laughs!

Yummy pumpkin chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.

Taking a little walk around daddy's school to enjoy the autumn colored leaves.

Who doesn't love a good stick fight?!

Daddy and Olivia teaching Clara her animal sounds! So far she knows what a bear, duck , and dog say. And she pretty much thinks every animal is a doggie so we are working on that!

Meet "Mr. Petey Pumpy."
(As Olivia named him).

We are so excited for Halloween we can hardly take it!
