Newport Beach pt. 1

This beach trip was one of those spur of the moment things for us.
My mom called me up and said, "we are going to Newport Beach this weekend with just our family so look for flights!"
And a few days later the girls and I were on a plane to L.A.
We were sad Michael couldn't come but ya know school's like that...keeping you busy and all.
The entire week was literally a dream.
Everything was absolutely perfect.
I did my best to capture all my favorite things about this beach trip in pictures so enjoy!

After 3 airports and over 8 hours of traveling and layovers we made it to Newport!
P.S I flew with two crazies all by myself! And we survived!

Our view from the beach house.
Heaven right?!

Every morning I kid you not we walked down the boardwalk to our favorite Seaside Donuts and picked up a couple dozen of donut goodness.
My favorite was the raspberry filled and the maple bars. But you really can't go wrong with any of them.
Thankfully they are open 24 hours so some of the days we went multiple times.
I think I ate a grand total of 2 dozen donuts the whole week.
And I honestly don't regret a single bite!

Jill is quite creative when it comes to playing in the sand and Olivia was loving it!

She's been talking a lot about mermaids lately and thanks to aunt Jill she actually got to be one for a few minutes!

We had a hilarious time playing frisbee in the sand.

Don't fool yourself by my good form, I can't throw a frisbee to save my life. Thankfully I am not alone and didn't throw it and hit the lifeguard truck's windshield (while the lifeguard was in there) like Jill did!

Of course Olivia made a few friends.

I seriously love my weird as heck family!

Dikshyantaa and Clara looking at all the shells found that day.

We even found a baby crab!

I love this picture for several reasons. One is Sophia relaxing in the back because that's what the beach is all about, and secondly is Clara's face. She has turned in to quite the feisty little squawker!

Dikshyantaa and Ayusha were so cute with both Olivia and Clara. They loved playing with them and often times watched them so that I could go play in the waves!
They are the best and the Olivia and Clara quickly fell in love with them.

Each day around lunchtime we would go up to the beach house and make lunch to bring down to eat on the beach.
Sometimes... okay a lot of times we ate a little sand with our food!
There's just something about eating on the beach.
Thankfully not only did we have our food in the beach house but the Pipeline (a little shack right on the boardwalk super close) had amazing corn dogs, hamburgers, fries, pretzels, and snowcones that we pigged out on frequently!

And then Sophia and I got crazy and took jumping pictures!

It was a blast being there with Sophia, both of us husbandless and ever willing to share our stash of bikinis!
