Clara's 1 month old.

It's hard to believe that our little Clara Sophia has been with us 1 month.
It's definitely been a month from heaven.
This little baby is so very sweet.

Here are a few things about her:

*She weighs 6 lbs. Still so very tiny. She still wears preemie clothes. I bought her a pair of preemie shoes that are still way too big for her!
*Right now she has very dark hair and olive skin. We still don't know the color of her eyes but I'm thinking they may be blue. And they are definitely big like her mamma's. Her hair appears to be curly and it seems like she may have at least one dimple on her cheek:) It's hard to tell who she looks like. I think she is a good mix of Michael and I. She has some similarities to Olivia but definitely is not a clone.
*She loves to be held. Which I definitely don't mind.
* She is such a good little sleeper and wakes up just two times during the night. I usually feed her right before bed at 10:00 pm and then around 1:00- 1:30 am,  and then around 4:00-4:30 am.  She sleeps in a bed next to me. But who are we kidding...she spends a lot of time snuggling in mom and dad's bed. She loves to have her face right up against either me or Michael's. She's a cuddler just like the rest of her family thank goodness!
*She poops like a goose. She is extremely gassy and is going through a record high number of diapers a day. And yes I have been pooped on. I'm not exactly a fan of that projectile poo ha! It's amazing what can come out of her tiny bum:)
*She always gets the hiccups.
*She is quite the sneezer. I think it is because she was born right smack in the middle of allergy season here in Salem. But she seriously screams (very loud) before she sneezes, and she has since the day she was born. She gets this from her great grandpa Brown and grandma Farr. I have a feeling she might be a bit dramatic. She even scared her pediatrician one time!
*She is such a good eater. I nurse her the majority of the time but I try and give her a bottle of breast milk every other day or so, so that she gets used to a bottle in case we ever need to use it when we are out and such.
She has a very strong little head and holds it right up by herself to look around.
She seriously never fusses. Only when she is hungry, wants to be swaddled, has a messy diaper, or wants mommy to hold her. She's easy to please and we love that!
*She's a binky baby and will take any kind of binky.
*She loves taking baths. But hates getting out. (Who doesn't?!) She even loves showers. Just like her sister!
*She loves to be tightly swaddled.
*She has daddy completely smitten. He already calls her drop dead gorgeous and certainly loves holding her.
*She's very used to loud noises from her daddy and sister and doesn't even move when there is something loud going on.
*She has a sister who absolutely LOVES her and even talks in a high little voice when talking to her. She is very good at rocking and giving her her binky. Olivia loves to say, " baby ta tum out of mommy's tummy and say hi ya to yiya." ( Baby Clara come out of mommy's tummy and says hi ya to Olivia.) (In a very high voice) Also whenever Clara cries Olivia will say, "its okay honey, its okay." I have two very cute girls that's forsure.
*She has a very protective momma and has not been out except to go her doctor's appointments and a few outside outings to the park where she stays covered the whole time. Very few people have held her and it will stay that way for a while. She's fine in just her mommy's arms for now.
* I could go on and on about our Clara. She's absolutely to die for.

Everyday I thank my Heavenly Father for sending us our precious Clara. We have enjoyed every second of this month with her and can't wait for many more to come.
She's an angel and we are very very blessed.
