A much needed update:

For those few who read this get ready because this is a long post! So much happens every day and so many pictures are taken. Mostly of Olivia of course!

Just a cute picture of our baby girl all ready for bed!

So since we would be in Washington for Christmas, my family decided to have an early Christmas celebration.

We opened our presents and had an amazing dinner. Olivia got some really fun toys!
I love Emerson's face in the background and who knows what my boy is doing.

I got some really cute boots! He got some nice sweaters and a video camera. I am very excited about this present. I guess it's mostly mine since I will use it more.

Michael and I gave Olivia a few of her presents since they were to big to take in our bags. We are excited for her to be able to play with them. She is still too small but loves looking at the lights on them.

Since we don't go to church (because of the germs) we decided to dress her up in one of her cute dresses!

It was very fun spending time with my family. I was so excited to give Olivia all her presents even though I am sure she had no idea what was going on. It was also hard realizing that I wouldn't be with my family on Christmas but we were very excited to go up to Washington.

So the day before we left, Michael took my ring in to get polished. When he got back he gave me a rose and a note and then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him again haha. It was adorable. I love it when he gets all romantic.

So we finally made it to Washington. It was quite the adventure flying with a baby. We definitely struggled getting there but after about 12 hours of flying, sitting in airports, and driving we made it!
Aunt Sarah holding Olivia. It was her first time meeting her. She was such a great help and loved to hold her. I am sure they will be little buddies!

It was uncle Matthew's first time meeting her also. It was funny because he was the one who was constantly asking to hold "it." We told him he couldn't hold "it" unless he called her a she or her or something besides "it". Well I'm afraid that the replacement name he came up with was not much better...old man turtle haha.

Her are a few cuties of this baby girl:

We acted out the nativity and of course the 3 of us were Joseph, Mary, and baby Jesus. Olivia was a bit more behaved during the actual acting out part.

Christmas morning!

With her Grandma Kelly on Christmas morning.

Watching movies! I saw Dispicable Me and Toy Story 3 for the first time. I really liked them.

Michael and I bought tetris on my cell phone. We are seriously addicted.

Napping with my baby girl. She is so cuddly.

She loves sleeping with things over her mouth and face. Usually it is her arm or hand. Sometimes if I am holding her she will turn her head so that her face is directly on my arm. It's kind of funny.

Daddy and baby girl sleeping. She seems to nap better when she is not alone.

I love this picture.

Michael's brother Stephen planned a poetry reading. Michael was so excited about this.
He took it quite seriously by making sure he was all dressed up in his dad's suit coat.

We are now home.
We went to dinner at Chili's on New Year's Day with my parents, Michael's parents and his brother. This was Olivia's first time out. Well out of her car seat. I usually only take her out when I know she will be asleep that way I can keep her covered. But this time she decided she wanted to wake up and get out so I had no choice. She loves grandpa John.

Aunty Sophie loves Olivia. She is always talking to her in this really funny voice.

Michael and baby girl all ready to cheer the buckeyes to victory in the Sugar Bowl.

Sadly, her little buckeye outfit is getting a little too small so we had to keep the bottom unsnapped to prevent them squishing her chubby little legs. She loved watching the game and at the end when it got quite intense she stared at the t.v. the whole time.

Her little neck is so chubby that we hardly get to see it unless we lay her on her tummy. She will lift her little head up and stick her neck out like a little turtle and look around. It's adorable.

She is 3 months now.

She has become quite the smiler. At first I thought she was going to just be a really serious baby because she hardly smiled but now she does it all the time. I love it and can't wait to hear her little giggle.

Uncle Winston picked out these little pajamas for her. It was fun to see her in blue since she mostly wears pink of course.

We had an amazing holiday spent with amazing family.
We could not be more blessed.
We are excited for this new year and all the laughs and memories we will share.

P.s. I just wanted to announce that my boy got a 4.0. I could not be prouder.
P.s.s. Olivia got blessed on Sunday January 2nd. Pictures to come.

The ugly sweater party

Exactly 2 years ago there was a party.
An ugly sweater party.
My boy came except I didn't know then that he would be my boy,
but I knew I wanted him to be.
He shared with me his favorite Westlife cds and we had lots of fun playing in the snow together.
I knew I was falling for him, in fact I was pretty sure I loved him.
I know this might sound crazy especially since it was our first time hanging out, but I think that my love was there all along, it was just waiting for him.
I didn't want him to leave that night.
But he did of course.
So, I fell asleep listening to his favorite music
thinking and dreaming of him.
I couldn't wait to see him next.
Little did I know that 2 years later we would be happily married with a beautiful baby girl.
I just love him and so much more than I did 2 years ago.

Thanksgiving Point lights and a few extra cuties

Yesterday, we decided to take a wagon around all the lights at Thanksgiving Point with my family. We knew Olivia would LOVE all the lights. And she did. She was wide awake the whole time just looking around. She seemed to like the green ones the best. The horses smelled pretty bad, I'll have to admit that I was a bit envious of Michael's lack of smell!

Okay here are the few extra cuties.

Tummy time!

All bundled up in her carseat.

So we were getting ready to run a few errands and I had just bundled her up in her carseat. I had walked away to pick up a few things when Michael told me to come look. So I did and this is what I saw.

This is about as close as we get to a little smile from this serious girl. Of course it's still adorable!

Uggs and Chub

This precious girl is definitely putting on the chub.
It's so cute I just want to squish it.

Her uggs are adorable. I want a pair.
Oh and guess what? She rolled over.
Yep, from tummy to back. Twice!
Yay Olivia!!

My cousin

Yesterday, we were able to go up to my Uncle Gardner and Aunt Lisa's house for a "last" dinner before my cousin Joshua leaves on his mission.
He is going to Mexico.
I couldn't help but get a little emotional as I looked around the table at my brothers and sisters and cousins. I realized that things are about ready to change. We are all pretty close in age so there will be several missions that overlap making it around 6 years before we are sitting around the table like that again. By then I am sure their will be other new additions to the family. I know I am a married woman with my own baby but sometimes I still feel like I am a kid. I can not believe how fast time has gone. It seems like just yesterday we were all flinging around on the tubes trying to push each other off, laughing and talking about things only cousins can talk about, doing crazy things that get us in trouble, and just being best friends like we were.
I don't like change.
Joshua is like a brother to me. I am going to miss this crazy boy, but I am so excited for him and so proud of his decision to serve a mission. He is going to be an amazing missionary and I know he will be very influential.

2 months and a few other things

So we took our sweet girl to her 2 month doctors appointment. I can't believe she is 2 months already, she is growing up! But we have loved every minute of our time with her. She is a precious little girl with a darling personality! Anyway these are her stats:
Weight: 9 lb 4 ounces-12th percentile
Height: 19.8 in-27th percentile
Head: 38 cm-30th percentile
She got 3 shots in her little legs. It was seriously one of the saddest things I have ever witnessed. She was brave though and calmed down once I picked her up.
A few things about our little girl:
*She has blue eyes. I really like this.
*Loves lights and is always staring outside.
* Still loves her showers more than anything else
* Makes little snoring sounds when she sleeps
*Loves her uncle Winston so much so that her first smile was at him
*Loves her mommy. Yep she is a mommy's girl. She will let other people hold her for a minute but always ends up fussing until I take her. I am not going to lie, I love it!
*Loves to play the stand up, sit up game. She has strong little legs.
*Is getting cute little rolls on her legs. Adorable!
*Squirted poop all over her dad's shirt haha. I am sure she did it on purpose because she has never done this to me and I change most of her diapers.
*Is such a cuddly little girl.
*Loves to hold my hand in the car
*Has started cooing and making little sounds.
*Oh she's just perfect. We love her!

So here are a few things we have done lately:

We had my cousins Jason and Adriana and their darling little baby Samantha down for dinner and games. We had a blast playing with our little girls.

I can't handle how cute this picture is. They are going to be little buddies:)

Sitting in her little swing. She kind of likes it which is better than not liking it all or liking it too much. I of course would rather hold her as much as possible.

Our little Buckette all geared up for the last Ohio State game! She loved looking at the t.v, In fact that is what she is looking at.

Go Buckeyes!!

With her daddy!

So Olivia and I have loved having netflix on xbox because we can watch these as much as we want! I noticed that the ages for these shows are 8-10 but that's okay, I love them anyway.

Here are a couple videos:
Grandpa John playing caterpillar!

You will have to turn the volume up for this one but this is her sleeping. You will hear her little snoring sounds. It's adorable!
