Ryan & Sophia's wedding part 2.

This post mostly has pictures of all the little details of the reception.
So enjoy!

 The sugar cookies.
These were basic sugar cookies, my great grandma Cederlof's recipe, frosted with a pink cream cheese frosting.
They were amazing and turned out pretty cute too.

This is the only good picture I could find of the cupcakes.
But there were 180 vanilla cupcakes with a fresh strawberry cream cheese frosting and then 180 pink velvet cupcakes frosted with a cream cheese frosting.

Besides the cupcakes and cookies they served strawberries and cream.
Look how stinking cute the glasses are that people used to pour their cream.

A cute little display right before walking back to the tent.

Her cake.
I'm so glad that it turned out good, I was freaking out the whole time that all the frosting would just melt away or something else awful would happen.
But the cake remained intact and fit in perfectly with everything else.
Yay for frosting my first wedding cake, although I highly doubt I will ever do it again.

Isn't her bouquet gorgeous?!
Leslie did an amazing job.

One of the displays on her tables.

Everyone loved the chandelier hanging right in the center of the tent.

This was the cutest idea.
The 2 missionary brothers had their very own display table with pictures.

Me and mom.

Me and one of my best friends Kenz.

They were not very nice about their cake sharing!

Us with all the aunts.
I can't even explain how much I love each of them.
I'm so grateful that not only are they my aunts but dear friends as well.

Making a run for it!
(Hilary since I know you are reading this I just wanted to tell you that I love this picture haha.
You are trying so desperately to catch up!)

Only 3 of us made it in tact but no worries the others are right behind.

The faces of my cute aunt Hilary and Tiffany are priceless.

Love these girls.

Olivia had a hard time sleeping that night.
I think she knew we were leaving the next morning and so she was sad.
Luckily she had grandma who volunteered to comfort her and cuddle her the whole night.

We had a perfect crazy, hilarious week.
And we couldn't be happier for Ryan and Sophia.
They definitely are meant to be!

Shoe lover.

 This little girl loves shoes.
Dad's shoes, mom's shoes, her shoes, random people's shoes, everyone's shoes.
If you leave your shoes out it won't be long until she's walking around in them.
I especially think it's cute when she wears my heels.
And I love all her facial expressions in these pictures.
I just couldn't resist posting them all.

3 years later and even more in love.

 It's been 3 years.
Three perfect years with my Michael.
Looking back it kind of seems like it's been forever.
Like we've always been together.
I think that is because our life feels complete with each other.
Now that we've reunited.
I love thinking about what we were in heaven together.
I'm sure we were just as cute together as we are now and just so excited to experience our earthly life together.
Even though we knew it would be hard, and that there would be lots of pain and trials.
Yet at the same time so much joy and love.
I couldn't have picked a better partner to share forever with.
I love this boy SO MUCH MORE than I did 3 years ago.
It's funny how on our wedding day I was sure that there was no way I could possibly love him any more than I already did.
But I do and my love continues to grow every single day.

We've been through a lot the past three years.
A lot of hard things.
But going through them has only made us closer, stronger and even more in love.
Back in the day when we wrote love notes/emails to each other every day Michael said this at the end of one them,
"I'll be your constant Bella, your one sure thing in life. I'll honor and cherish you and respect you.  When the morning sun rays dance on your olive skin and wake you every morning, when the evening stars sing love to your ears, when our children are screaming for dinner and you don't feel as if you can stand on your two feet even one minute longer, you won't have to wonder where I am, or what I am thinking or doing.  My devotion is yours forever, and you can fall asleep every night knowing that, just as I always have from the foundations of time, will be right by your side with my hand in yours."
I love this and it's been our motto ever since.
Side by side hand in hand forever.

I love you so much Michael.
I'm so grateful for everything you've done for me, everything you are to me.
And I'm so excited for forever.
It will be perfect with you.

We're moving..again.

I have officially decided that I hate moving.
Oh my gosh.
But tomorrow morning we are off to Salem!
It will take us 2 days since it is a 14 hour drive.
But we are so excited.
So excited to start Law school and get on with our lives.
I think I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Just 3 more years of school.
Well maybe 5 if Michael decides to do International law.
But we can do this!
Stay tuned for pictures of our new place and updates about my cute boy's first day of graduate school!

I'm 23!

I love birthdays.
Especially mine.
I just like having a day all about celebrating me.
This year my birthday was pretty much a three day celebration.
Which I did not mind at all.
On Thursday the other girls from the group came over to watch Bachelor Pad and surprised me with a cake.
I am so grateful to them for not singing happy birthday and just letting me make my wish and blow out the candles.
I think getting sung to is kind of awkward.
Anyways, we all enjoyed our cake while watching our show.
The night could not have been better.

Then around midnight (the start of my actual birthday) I was given a sweet hug and a kiss by my boy.
I love that.
That next morning we ate breakfast and then Michael told me he was taking one of his personal days so that he could spend time with me.
He played with Olivia, cleaned up, and changed a couple poopy diapers.
We were able to spend time with each other and cuddle during Olivia's nap and then the second she woke up we headed to Tutti Frutti.
Which as you know is my favorite.
We then went grocery shopping to pick up a bunch of food for my family's visit.
After Olivia was in bed for the night Michael and I finished off my birthday toasting sparkling cider, playing uno and watching 13 going on 30.
Oh and I got a very nice massage.
It was a perfect day.

On Sunday since my family was here I made a yummy birthday dinner consisting of homemade rolls, creamy bacon carbonara, and of course a homemade chocolate cake.

Here are a few pictures.

The cute cake the girls brought.

Blowing out my candles.
Notice how I am holding my hair back.
That is because I've experienced lighting my hair on fire due to my hair hovering over a candle.
I will never make that mistake again.

(From left to right).
Nicole Bringhurst, Nicole's sister who was visiting, me, Sarie Hurd, and Kylee Carlson.

My very cute family after enjoying our amazing frozen yogurt.

My family celebrating.

It was hard, but I blew out every single candle in one breath.
I'm so proud of myself but at the same time nervous for next year.

Happy Birthday to me!
I kind of wish my birthday came more than once a year.
I might have to start making everyone celebrate my half birthday!

Company party.

Last weekend we were able to drive up to Fresno to spend the day at a lake for the company party.
We left late Friday night and drove about 2 1/2 hours to Lancaster where we spent the night.
Since we don't have a travel bed for Olivia she got to sleep on a little princess mattress all by herself.
We really struggled getting her to sleep since she wouldn't fall asleep on the mattress by herself and when we put her in our bed she just thought it was time to play.
So it was a long night.
But she did end up falling asleep and looked so cute on her very own mattress.

In the morning we drove another hour to the lake where we spent most of the day.
The company had rented a platoon boat and a bunch of jet skis.
Michael and I were able to go out on the jet skis which was a complete blast.
We also tried to take Olivia but she was not impressed.
There were TONS of food and drinks.
So we pretty much spent the whole day shoving our faces and relaxing on the boat.

Then we drove to a hotel where we ate dinner and they talked to the team for a while and gave out a few gifts.
Both Michael and I got a couple shirts and some Nike basketball shorts which I've seriously worn almost every day since.
Michael also got a really nice Ogio backpack.
Which will be perfect for Law school.

We headed home at around 7:00 pm.
So it was a long drive and another long night.
But a super fun weekend thanks to Spark!

I was so terrible at taking pictures but here are the 3 I did manage to take!

A quick update/video.

1:
We now have only 12 days left here in California.
I can hardly believe how fast this summer has gone.
It is crazy.
But I can not even begin to tell you how excited we are to move to Oregon and for Michael to start law school.
It seems like we have been in school forever and we are just excited to start this last chapter of school.
And then in 3-5 years be done with it:)
We have our apartment all picked out so now we've just got to make the 14 hour drive to get to it.
Luckily my family is coming this very weekend to spend time with us and then help us get all packed up.
My mom and the 3 littles will then make the drive up with us and help us unpack.
Michael's famiy who live just 4 hours away are also planning on meeting us there.
Which we are so excited for since it's been like 7 months since we've seen them.

We feel so blessed to have such supportive families who are so willing to help.
I have no idea what we'd do with out them.

2:
 Olivia is such a sweetheart.
I can not even begin to talk about how much we love her.
Lately she has become obsessed with Winnie the Pooh's Heffalump movie.
When she tells us she wants to watch it she sticks her little tongue in and out while making a consistent sound. It's kind of hard to explain, so see below in the video.

She is learning so many words and is learning to communicate with us so well.
It amazing how quickly she changes.
It's really daily.
She reminds me so much of Michael.
Not just looks wise but mannerisms/personality.
I swear they are twins.
I took this little video of her today saying some of her words and animal sounds.
Her attention span is not very long so I will have to get more later because she is talking so much now!

3:
Things are going really well for us right now.
I am so happy right now with everything.
And I'm so lucky to have Michael and Olivia in my life.
They're everything to me.

There's a lot of upcoming posts I'm sure.
My 23rd birthday, our 3rd year anniversary, my family's visit and of course the big move so stay tuned!

Binky sharing.

Olivia has been lucky this summer to have made some super fun friends.
Burress ("deeeeeezzz" as she calls him) has been getting a little extra attention from her.
I think it is because they've started sharing binkies haha.

Bath tub fun gone bad.

So being the cute mommy that I am I thought I'd start to try out some of the pinterest toddler activities that I've pinned on my board.
The other night it was putting colorful ice cubes in the bath tub.
I honestly thought Olivia would just love it.
But I was so wrong.
See below for proof.
(The picture above was seconds after I put them in. I think she was a bit confused.)

Deciding that she was not a fan.

Kind of laughing and crying at the same time.

Now she's mad.
She hates the "tas" (colors).
Everytime we take a bath now she says "tas" and shakes her head while saying "no."

After we rinsed out the colors she decided she wanted to give the bath tub a hug.

And a kiss.

She's a funny little thing that's forsure.
But I love her so much and am excited to try out some other fun things that hopefully she'll like a little more!

Bachelorette Parties!

Lucky for me all of us girls in the group are big fans of the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows.
So every Tuesday night we've gotten together to watch the Bachelorette.
It definitely is a day we look forward to all week.
All the drama and cuteness of falling in love.
 It's just wonderful.
Emily definitely did not disappoint as this season's bachelorette especially when she ended up picking Jef from Salt Lake City!
Yay!
I've been rooting for him the whole time.
They are just so cute and I hope they stay together forever:)

(from left to right)
Nicole, Sarie, me, and Kylee
We made a lot of yummy food.

 Nicole, me, and Kylee

Sarie, me, and Kylee loving every second of the show:)

Luckily the day after the Bachelorette ended Bachelor Pad started.
So our parties will continue!

Santa Monica Beach round 2.

On Sunday, we decided to go the beach.
This time we went with most of the group so it was a blast.
We took 2 separate cars and got lost from the other one causing a little bit of a delay.
(It took us 1 1/2 hours to find each other haha)
Parking is crazy.
Our day started off with Olivia peeing on Burress's arm.
She had on on her swim diaper but it must have leaked out the side haha.
Then we had lunch on the pier and headed down to the beach.
It was a little cooler so most of us didn't even consider going in the water.
But you would not believe what we saw.
Dolphins!!!
They were swimming quite close to shore putting on a show for everyone.
Apparently some of the people started freaking out because they thought they were sharks.
Michael said that they were screaming at everyone to get out of the water.
We of course knew they were dolphins because there were two of them and they would glide nicely out of the water instead of swimming around all creepishly like a shark would.
Michael and some of the other boys caught crabs and brought them up to Olivia.
She loved them.
And calls them "pinch" while doing the pinch motion with her little fingers.
(She's been talking about the "pinches" ever since.)
We then went to a little pizza place for dinner and headed home after a long fun day.
I love living by the beach.
(I know I've said it a million times but I really do.)

Little Livy.

Sarie, Olivia, and Me.
We pretty much chilled here the whole time.

The "pinch"
Isn't it like the ugliest little thing?
I have no idea why Olivia liked it so much.
It creeped me out.

(From left to right)
Burress, Matthew, Butch, Michael, and Carter

Not the best picture of us.
Michael's eyes are closed, my hair is all over the place, and Olivia isn't even looking at the camera.
But oh well here we are!

The Dark Knight Rises.

You would not believe the talk around our little apartment in regards to this movie.
Everyday for months I was asked, "How pumped are you to see it?"
I of course responded the same way everytime.
"I could wait until it comes out on redbox."

To say Michael was excited is an understatement.
Lucky for us a couple in our group was willing to watch Olivia so that we could both go opening weekend.
He of course loved it.
And I enjoyed it as well but mostly because I got to hold my cute boy's hand the entire time.
