This year for Michael's birthday we went to La Hacienda (a yummy Mexican restaurant) for dinner.
I felt so bad because right as we pulled in to the restaurant I barfed.
Michael took Olivia in and got our table.
I of course walked in a few minutes later looking like death and immediately sprawled myself out on the disgusting bench.
I was SO sick.
Michael helped feed and control our yelping Olivia who was trying to fling everything in sight.
I tried to sip my dr. pepper and eat my dinner without barfing all over the place.
I felt so bad.
We made it home and Michael opened his gifts.
Thanks to my family, and the Mickelson's for totally spoiling him:)
He then lit his one little candle on his chocolate cupcake that he picked up himself at our favorite bakery on his way home from school earlier that day.
(I felt so bad for not making him a cake, but I will make it up to him next year!)
We probably had one of our top 5 awkwardest moments when he asked me to sing to him and I refused because I knew I would sound awful.
So he just started right in singing happy birthday to himself and I joined in softly part way through the song because I felt so bad.
Oh my gosh all we could do after was laugh hysterically.
I wish we would have had a video camera or something because it was probably the worst happy birthday singing of all time.
Hopefully next year Olivia will join in:)
His favorite chapstick.
Yay for giftcards!
And Itunes cards!
You can tell Michael is excited about this gift:)
(Olivia is like "what the crap dad, you're weird!)
His little birthday cupcake!
I really really love this boy.
I'm sure this is one of those birthdays neither of us will forget!
I'm so grateful for my sweet boy and the amazing example he is to me.
I sure am blessed to have him as my husband.
