Yesterday we decided to venture out up the canyon to picnic at Cascade Springs.
The drive was a bit long, but beautiful.
It was just what I needed.
Being all sick and cooped up the past week.
Olivia loved it as well.
We set out blankets and chairs and had our picnic right in the parking lot.
(By the way we we went with my mom and 3 littles and then some families from the ward.)
After lunch, we took a small walk around.
Olivia loved her backpack and just rested her little head on the blanket the whole time.
I usually am not a huge fan of drives and little hikes.
But I loved this.
Mostly because of the crisp fresh air and the gorgeous trees we were surrounded by.
Enjoy a few pictures.

After that beautiful adventure I had the (we'll just say) privilege of going golfing with my sweet boy.
Apparently I made some sort of deal that I would go if he did something.
I have no idea what it was.
I still think he took advantage of me being sick and completely out of it.
But we went.
And actually, for golfing it wasn't too bad.
He played amazingly, I drove the cart, crashed into some ball washer, and even tried putting a few times with his left handed putter.
I putted better than him once. Just sayin.
What stunning pictures...I want to come and play. Not the golfing part the hiking part. :)
