Our crazy week:

Things have been a bit crazy in our little family the past week or so.
Lots and lots of drama, sickness, and unpacking.
Here's a little update of what's been going on:
We are finally moved into my parents basement. Well mostly... there is still some work to do.
Olivia got her first ear infection, cold, and sore bum (Details to come)
Pulled my first all-nighter with a screaming baby. (Not fun)
I got my first cold of the year.
Finally bought a new mattress and head board. Oh how I love my new headboard. (Pictures to come)
Found out that my boy is smarter than I thought he was...seriously. Excited for him to take the real LSAT on June 6th.
Olivia has decided that she likes to fall asleep by herself in her crib. (Now we just got to get her sleeping through the night.)
She's also decided that she is going to be a bit more friendly and not start screaming everytime someone other than her mom and dad hold her.

Anyway, here are a few pictures and videos I somehow managed to take despite all the craziness.

Found this little cutie like this in her swing. I should probably take her bows off before naps!

Emerson turned 17 on March 20th. For dinner the night before we went to Mi Rancherito.
I just love that crazy boy.

At dinner with Auntie Sophie. She's doing the crazy eyes haha!

On Sunday we had another little birthday party. Well Emerson's real birthday party. My grandpa Brown came over and cooked steaks and then we played speed outside. Olivia loved being outside watching all the action.

There she is!

Our little Olivia can be a smiley little thing but whenever I try to get her smiling on the camera she gets all serious. We finally were able to get a shot, probably because we tricked her!

Now for the sad part of this update. Our precious little girl got her first real cold. (She's had a few runny noses and tiny coughs but nothing like this.) I still hardly take her out and I am not kidding when I say we haven't been to church to September. (Except Sacrament Meeting for her blessing.) I know I might be a little over protective but seriously I just did not want her getting sick. Sadly this little cold came from her dad who probably got it from Winston. Well it started off as a runny nose and pretty bad cough and then on our first night in our new home she got her first ear infection. She was up all night screaming. Seriously it was so sad. I really did not know how to help her. My sweet mom heard her crying and would come down and rock her and help us out. (She's pretty experienced in the ear infection department because 4 of us 7 kids got them quite frequently). At the time we weren't 100% percent sure if it was her ears or if it was a tummy ache so we decided we would take her up to the doctor that next morning. Well it turned out she had an infection in her left ear and of course a pretty bad cold but not RSV thankfully. So we got her started on antibiotics and she has been fine ever since. Poor little Olivia. Seriously, I don't know what I would do without my mom. Michael helps as much as he can but with school all day I wanted him to get sleep so he went upstairs and of course he couldn't come up to the doctor because of classes. My mom stayed up most of the night with me and Olivia and continued to help that next day. I think sweet little Olivia realized how much her grandma loves her and decided that she better let her hold her. Ever since that night she has let my mom hold her without crying or fussing for me. So cute! I am pleased to say that Olivia is pretty much completely better! Although, she did get her first sore bum because of the antibiotics and then on top of her cold and ear infection she is teething. Yes, her 2 little bottom teeth are barely visible! Oh and I forgot to mention that after the horrible all nighter I came down with the cold. Sad. Luckily we are all making a speedy recovery and should be back to normal soon!

The day of the move...with all her little medicines lined up.

She actually fell asleep on my mom. Let me just say that that is rare. I love the little drool puddle on my mom's shoulder.

Here are just a few videos of family playing with Olivia:
