And some more...

Well we are in Utah, and have been for 3 weeks.
It's been a complete blast and I still have so many more posts to catch up on.
But for now here are just some of those random pictures.

This baby girl is the cutest when she sleeps.

So this picture has a little story behind it. Don't worry it ends happy.
So a few hours before we left for Utah I was getting both babies bathed.
(Michael was at a meeting for church.)
Well, Olivia was done and as usual was climbing all over my bed.
I was trying to get Clara dressed.
Olivia fell and hit the corner of her eye on my side table.
It was awful and I was completely freaking out.
Thankfully, it was not very deep and so we did not need to take her in for stitches.
Oh gosh, it scared me to death. Sometimes I think that girl is just an accident waiting to happen.
She can be a little wild:)
Anyway, we left at 8:00 pm that night and arrived in Utah at 10:30 am the next morning.
(We thought it would be easier on the girls to drive through the night so they could sleep.)
We were right and it was such a nice car ride. Of course it was a little harder on Michael and I but I'm pretty sure we'll be traveling that way again in the future.
Have I mentioned that we surprised my mom and the littles?
(They thought we we were coming 2 days later.)
We showed up and knocked on the door.
They freaked out of course!
My dad already knew because I wanted him to wait to go to work so he could see us.
It was the best.

Naptime.

Little Livy was so tired that she fell asleep on grandma's lap.

 I love this girl.

Sister lovin.

Sophia meeting baby Clara for the first time!

Taking a little snooze in her car seat so I can make some snickerdoodles to send to uncle Emerson!

Olivia absolutely loves seven peaks.
Especially the wave pool.
She loves to plug her little nose and hold her breath for about 2 seconds!

Clara loved it too, as long as she was in the shade!

Taking a little rest with grandpa.

Gotta love the bonnets!

Two of my loves.
I can't really handle Clara's position!

Loving grandma time.

I caught a smile.
At least part of one.
I think she looks like a turtle in this picture.
A very very cute little turtle!
My baby has her mommy's eyes, that's forsure!

Clara loves her grandpa.
I think she could sleep in his arms forever.

I told you she is the cutest sleeper.
Don't you just want to kiss those chubby cheeks?
I do, all the time!

More to come.

 Winston comes home tomorrow!
OH MY GOSH I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!!!!!

4 years.

Dear Michael,
Can you believe it's been 4 years?! I hardly can. I feel like we've been married forever. And that's a good thing! We've definitely had our share of trials, but because of them we are closer and stronger.
I love that I still get butterflies in my stomach when I'm around you.
I love the way you look at me. I can tell how much you love me and how glad you are that you chose me. And I hope you feel that way when I look at you too.
I love that we can talk for hours and hours and never run out of things to say.
I love that I can still take you out in a wrestling match. You probably let me win but that's okay.
I love that we are always up for a good dessert and how we literally can't go a night without enjoying something sweet.
I love that we always make time for cuddling. Everyday.
I love that you are always trying to be a better person. You are such an amazing example.
I love that you always know what I want and need. I don't even need to tell you.
I love that you clear my place after ever meal.
I love watching you interact with our baby girls. You really are the best dad.
Lets face it, I could go on and on because I really do love everything about you, about us.
Individually we may be far from perfect but together we're pretty darn close.
I'm glad your mine forever because a lifetime just isn't long enough.
Happy 4 years!

Golfing, dinosaurs, and mini golf.

The first week we were in Utah was extra special because the Mickelson's were here too.
They were here to shop for missionary stuff for Matthew and to spend time with the Brooks side of the family.
Michael was able to go golfing with Papa Brooks, his dad and Matthew, Olivia was able to explore a dinosaur museum with her aunts, uncle and grandpa and then play mini golf for her very first time. She had a complete blast.

Golfing.

 Matthew, Papa, and Michael.

Enjoying some golf. A definite favorite of these three!

She's clearly a natural. Daddy can hardly wait to start teaching her. We're thinking maybe next summer?!

Thanks guys, Olivia has the best family!
Oh and thanks for the fabulous pictures:)

My precious Clara.

A friend from my home ward offered to take some pictures of Clara when we got to Utah.
I of course said yes, and I'm so glad I did because they turned out perfect.

She is 8 weeks old in these photos.

I'm so in love with this baby girl.
She's absolutely perfect in every way.

Thank you so much for taking these pictures Stephanie!
