Clara's 1st birthday.

We were so excited to spend your first birthday in Utah.
I had planned out all the food, decorations, and how I was going to make your cake and it was so fun to see it all come together so perfectly!
My family, my uncle Mark and aunt Annabelle and their kids, my cousin Rachel and her baby Emmy, my cousin Sarah, and both sets of great grandparents were all able to come celebrate your special day.
You are so loved Clara.
I want you to know that you wore the very dress I wore on my first birthday! Everybody says we look exactly alike!

Look at the little macaroons!
Your aunt Soph made these especially for you!

Olivia and cousin Abigail swinging away!

This is a shortened clip of the actual video but you LOVED it when everybody started singing Happy Birthday to you and immediately started in dancing. Even after the song was over you kept dancing, it took us a minute to get you to start eating your cake!

No surprise! You loved it!
I can hardly handle you putting your little mouth right onto the cake!

Olivia was so nice to help you unwrap all your gifts.
(She thought it was her birthday too!)

You and your second cousin Emmeline. You will be the best of friends someday.

Your great grandma Farr absolutely adores you.

Today couldn't have been more perfect.
Happy Birthday sweet girl!
We love you so much!

Happy 1st Birthday Clara!

My dear Clara,
I can hardly believe that you are one! You have been with us for one entire year! Although it seems like its been much longer than that. It's hard to imagine life before you came, you fit in so perfectly.
You have the sweetest little personality and are just content doing whatever. You do love your food though so that's our go to whenever you start to fuss. Which is rare. Everything about you is absolutely perfect and everyday I thank my Heavenly Father for sending you to us. For allowing me to be your mother. I can't imagine a greater gift. I love you so so much and cherish every single moment with you.
Love, Mommy

Clara,
As I've said before, you are water to Olivia's fire, although you are starting to develop some spark of your own.  Every inch of you is perfect: from your sweet toothy grin to your chubby legs, to the way you rock out to music. I love the way you adore and idolize your sister and hope that you two can be the best of friends. I love how excited you get in the bath tub. I hope you never feel like we love your sister more than you or you more than your sister. I can't wait to watch you grow but want you to know that you'll always be "that little baby."
Love, Daddy

We're in Utah!

If you follow me on instagram you know that we are in Utah this summer.
Michael is doing some work for a law firm in Provo. But I'll explain more about that in another post!

Needless to say we are in for one fabulous summer!

She loves to share her food. Even if it is sloppery squishy bananas!

When mountain dew announced that Baja Blast would be sold in the stores Winston and my dad made sure to stock up!
You can only imagine Michael's excitement!

We celebrated my Grandpa Farr's birthday and I finally remembered to take a picture of me and my cousin Rachel with our two babies just 5 months apart!

I had to take advantage of some Clara snuggles one afternoon!
She usually likes to sleep by herself.

One thing both Michael and I love about staying at my parent's house is that we have free babysitters whenever we want!
One night we went to see the movie Godzilla (his choice) and I of course had to stop and get myself my favorite daisy cookie to sneak in to the movie!

Clara's first time on the trampoline and she loved it!

Even when Olivia was rolling her around and riding her like a horsey.
See pictures below.

She's such a good sport ha.
But seriously watching my girls interact and play is the best thing ever!

Baths are a must every night with the fun we've been having and Clara is always more than excited to splash around for a while!

Stay tuned for more summer fun!

Silver Falls.

Another place we have heard is a must go is Silver Falls.
I am not huge in to hiking and such but after seeing a few of the waterfalls I knew we had to go!
It is about a 40 minute drive and oh my gosh I could have made that drive and over again that day.
It was stunning. And a long the way we came across acres and acres of Christmas tree farms.
I about flipped out. Some of the Christmas trees were so tiny that I was literally squealing.
I wanted to go grab one of them and take it home for decoration.
I'm getting excited just thinking about it.

Well we made it to the entrance after some difficulty. In case you haven't noticed Michael and I tend to struggle a bit with directions ha. Even though we did use google maps and were led literally to the middle of rainforest. Thankfully we managed to find our way out.
With two littles we only made it to the first waterfall. I think it is a 9 mile loop so of course we didn't even attempt that.
Olivia was not exactly thrilled to be walking by herself and demanded to be carried for a good part of the walk.
Thank goodness for Michael and his willingness to carry both girls because I had a hard enough time just carrying myself!
The waterfall was absolutely gorgeous and so fun to walk underneath it, to the side of it, below it, and above it.
Breathtaking really.

Look how freaking cute!!

Olivia loved this teeny tiny waterfall.
You can't see it very well in this picture but it was a cute little guy.

Look at this little pathway of flowers.
I love it!

And there's our happy little Clara.

I just can't get enough of this cute family of mine!
Here's to many more adventures!
