The weekend.

 My cute baby.

On Saturday we decided to take Olivia to Riverfront park to go to the splash pad.
We thought she'd love it, but she didn't.
She pretty much just stood there staring at the fountains.
Michael tried to push her under and she would just make a scared face and continue to stand there looking.
So apparently the splash pad is a no go:)

She does look super cute in her yellow swimsuit and little ponytail!

Baby Clara slept the whole time!

 We bought snow cones.
And trust me that will never happen again ha.
Somehow the sticky ice got all over Olivia, her towel, me and the grass.
It was disastrous. So we'll be sticking with icecream cones for now!

 Me and my girl.
She loved making funny faces.

After snow cones we went on a couple rides on the merry go round.
She LOVES it.
I'm sure if I let her she would ride it all day long.
Two times in a row is my max unless we want to see some serious barfing.

 Love that pointy little tongue!

 My little 6lb beauty.

 She loves to be swaddled.
She kind of reminds me of the ice age baby when she is swaddled all tight.

 Daddy reading to his girls.

Michael and I look forward to watching Keeping up with the Kardashians on Sunday nights ha.
So of course Clara gets to join.
Not only does she love being held but we love holding her.

So as you can tell it was a very happy weekend for us!

Picture love.

I could never ever take enough pictures of my cute girls.
Enjoy.

I think this sweet girl had her eyes open, but quickly closed them when the flash went off!

I love Olivia's face in this picture.
She was telling baby ta a story and was getting quite animated about it!

Enjoying some sun while big sister plays on the playground.

 Sweet baby sleeping.

 Clara sure loves her baths.

Olivia can't get enough of her baby sister and is always very eager to hold her!

 Little Dolly.

Ha I just can't get over the fact that her binkys are seriously the size of her face!

 Daddy loves snuggling her.
Especially while watching the NBA finals.

Morning snuggles.
It doesn't get more precious than these girls.
I definitely am one blessed mommy.

A ponytail and fingerpainting.

This cute girl is getting quite the crop of hair as daddy likes to say.
It's about time right?!
So I decided it was time to see if there was enough for a ponytail.
And sure enough there was!

CUTEST PONYTAIL EVER!!!

And because it has been rainy around here I decided to pull out her finger paints we got a while back.
As you can tell she was in heaven!

After about 15 minutes I think she started to get bored with finger painting on paper and decided she'd try it out on her face!
I love her face in this picture, I think she is like, "Crap, I really regret touching my face with my messy hands!"

Here are two videos of her finger painting fun.
The second one is my favorite.
As you can tell she got very comfortable with painting her face.
I sure love my girl!

Clara Sophia at 1 week old .

Being in law school and such we obviously have no money.
Especially a couple hundred dollars to spend on newborn photos.
So my mom and I snapped a couple pictures when Clara was just 1 week old.
And since my dad is experienced in the photography department we figured we'd take some serious pictures while we're in Utah at the end of July.

That being said, here are the pictures.

Clara's first 3 weeks part 2.

Having a second baby has been a little different than I thought.
I swear one of them is always pooing ha.
But it's been different in a good way.
I love being a mom more than anything else.
Doing dishes, folding laundry, changing diapers, giving baths, doing hair, reading stories, kissing owies  ect is what I've always wanted to do and I'm doing it.
I love my two girls more than anything and can't wait for all the fun times ahead!

When my mom left I bawled my eyes out for days.
I hated being so far away from my family and I wanted to just pack up the car and move back to Utah. (I may or may not still feel this way:))
Luckily we have a trip planned to Utah in just 6 weeks that I can look forward to.
We'll be there for about 3 weeks and I couldn't be more excited. Especially since we are planning on going to the cabin.
Oh and then in September I'll be going back to Utah to see Winston!!! And go to the beach for a week.
So there's another 3 weeks! Yay!
Michael tells me to think about those times to help me get through feeling so alone.
Hopefully someday we'll make our way back to Utah.
But for now I'm just trying to cherish every second I have with my two perfect girls because time goes by fast and babies grow up. Much too quickly.

Here's a bunch more pictures.

Olivia loves holding Clara.
And Clara loves being held by Olivia.
They're the cutest!

My little swaddled baby.

All tucked in for the night... well for the next 3- 3 1/2 hours:)

Precious baby.

She's so tiny.

Gotta love that binky that's as big as her face!

Olivia playing with her playdough!
I should have taken an after picture but that playdough ended up in a hundred little wads all mixed together on the floor:)

Naptime with my baby.
She's such a snuggly little thing!

Daddy tucked Clara in for a nap on the couch.

Oh my gosh, I love her so much!

Getting ready to take a bath.

Snuggle time with big sister.

Olivia told me that baby ta was so cute she wanted to squish her.
Ha hence the face.
Don't worry it wasn't a hard squish:)

Last Saturday, we decided to go ride the merry go round.
Olivia loves it.
Dad, not so much ha.
He about barfed.
So it looks like mommy has merry go round duty:)

She loved riding the "zebee" (zebra).

After cleaning up the apartment a bit I went in our room to check on Clara and I found these two cuties fast asleep.

Sorry this picture is a bit blurry.
But here is our hyper girl having a blast putting on all her shoes, reading lots of different books, and playing with baby Clara's balloon.
Sometimes I get tired just watching her:)

My two beautiful girls.
Life couldn't be any better.

Baby Clara is starting to look more and more like me when I was a baby everyday.
Could I maybe have a mini me?
I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Snuggles with dad.
Look how tiny she is!

I sure love this little family of mine.

Happy Fathers Day.

I love this man so very much.
He has and still teaches me so much everyday.
He is the best man I know.
Ever since I was young I always wanted to grow up to be just like him.
And I still do.

And I love this boy so very much.
I couldn't ask for a better dad for these two beautiful girls.
I know someday our kids will have the same respect and love for him as I do for my own dad.

Happy Father's Day you two! And Happy Father's Day to my father in law and all the other amazing men in my life!
